5 Lessons To Learn From Last Night Grammy Awards

*Written By Dr Laide Okubena*

To Encourage yourself to Keep Pushing , keep impacting and making a difference and Fulfill Purpose Even if you didn't win an Award by an Organization , Never Give up.

Don't Stop doing the good works and efforts you make because you didn't win an Award or get recognized when you were nominated.

Here are some lessons to learn as follows:

*Focus on Impact:*

Shift your focus from external validation to the impact you have on others. Remind yourself of the positive changes you've made, the lives you've touched, and the difference you've created. True fulfillment often comes from the positive influence you have, regardless of awards.

*Set Intrinsic Goals:* Establish goals that are intrinsically motivating, driven by personal fulfillment and growth. Define what success means to you beyond external recognition, and celebrate the progress you make in aligning with your purpose.

*Reflect on Personal Growth:*

Take time to reflect on your personal and professional growth.
Acknowledge the skills you've developed, the challenges you've overcome, and the resilience you've shown. Recognizing your journey and progress can be a powerful source of self-motivation.

*Connect with Your Passion:*

Reconnect with the passion that drives you. Remind yourself why you started on your path in the first place. Passion often fuels perseverance, and staying true to what you love can provide the internal motivation needed to keep pushing forward.

*Surround Yourself with Positivity:*

Seek out a supportive network of friends, family, and colleagues who understand your journey. Surrounding yourself with positivity can be a source of encouragement during challenging times. Share your experiences, listen to their stories, and draw strength from a community that values your efforts beyond external accolades.

Using Grammy award as a Casestudy Not Winning An Award does not mean you are not hardworking and a Great Talent or Successful or Making Money With Examples of Great Artists and Legends Who have been Nominated before and Not Won a Grammy award

Absolutely, winning a Grammy is prestigious, but it doesn't define an artist's talent or success or legacy.

Take artists like Leonardo DiCaprio o who won an Oscar after several nominations, or some other Legendary actors who never won an Oscar or got nominated or iconic musicians like Bob Marley and Jimi Hendrix, king Sunny Ade, Fela Anikulapo Kuti, Tuface Idibia, Femi Kuti or Even a Rema that one of the best years in the last one year with his record breaking 1 Billion streams and he won big in MTV Europe awards, BET and other awards like Billboards awards.

who were never awarded a Grammy during their lifetimes.

Nominations alone showcase recognition and contribution to the industry.

I realized a Lot of Nigerians last were expecting either of Burna Boy , Asake, Davido, Ayarr Starr to win out of the 4 categories they were all nominated, only to be surprised to see winners who won that probably were less popular in Africa or were not as commercially successful or even won other awards this guys won also.

This is also applies to several other legends who have won other awards and achievements but it was only Grammy Awards that didn't recognize them or give them their flowers.

Here are some Legends Who never won a Grammy despite several nominations.

Nas: The iconic rapper Nas was nominated multiple times before winning his first Grammy in 2021, despite being regarded as one of the greatest in the genre.

Snoop Dogg: Despite his immense influence in hip-hop, Snoop Dogg received his first Grammy in 2020 after numerous nominations.

Katy Perry: The pop sensation Katy Perry received multiple Grammy nominations early in her career but didn't secure a win and she has won several others awards including 4 Guiness World Records.

Diana Ross: The legendary Diana Ross, despite her immense impact on music, never won a competitive Grammy, though she received a Lifetime Achievement Award.

Tupac Shakur: The influential rapper Tupac Shakur never won a Grammy during his lifetime, showcasing that awards don't define artistic impact.

DO YOU SEE THESE STRANGE LINES ON YOUR NAILS? DON'T JOKE WITH IT, THIS IS WHAT IT SAYS OF YOUR HEALTH

As I’ve gotten older, those vertical ridges on my nails seem to be getting more and more prominent. That’s when I decided to do some research to see if those ridges meant anything about my health, and if there was anything I could do to get rid of them. What They Mean About Your Health After a lot of research, I did find that there is a small, rare possibility that those ridges can mean an underlying medical condition or possibly even nail trauma. But for most of us, it’s completely normal as we age to see them getting more noticeable, especially if you have dry skin or skin conditions such as eczema. I’m 36, and they’ve only recently started bothering me, but I’m relieved to find that they are most likely harmless. I’m just getting old. But Why Are They There? They’re basically like wrinkles of the nails! As we age, the nail matrix gradually starts to lose it’s effectiveness in some areas, causing your nails to grow out uneven, resulting in what we see as lines or ridges that run from
