I believe that everyone has “down moments” where you feel unloved and less than. You feel you will never be good enough and that God has forgotten you. You have thoughts of “why try, why go on, it’s just too hard.”
But these are moments when you must pull yourself out of that mindset. This is when you must get into God’s Word and remind yourself of what the Lord says about you. One of my favourite scriptures I go to for moments like this is Isaiah 43:1. I place myself in that scripture and I speak it out loud to remind myself that the enemy has no hold on me.
‘But now thus saith the LORD that created thee, O Nina-Rita, and He that formed thee, O Woman of God, Fear not: for I have redeemed thee, I have called thee by thy name; thou art mine!’ (Isaiah 43:1)
That feels good, but I didn’t stop there. I keep reading because the next scripture gets even better, it reminds me when trials come, the Lord is with me and He will never leave me.
‘When thou passest through the waters Nina-Rita, I will be with thee; and through the rivers, they shall not overflow thee: when thou walkest through the fire, thou shalt not be burned; neither shall the flame kindle upon thee.’ (Isaiah 43:2)
When you speak these scriptures over yourself, it will remind you that you are not alone and although you may have to face difficult seasons, the Lord is with you. You are safe within His care. The Lord has a purpose and a plan for your life and it is up to Him to get you there.
Stay faithful for He will not disappoint you.
He loves you and I love you too ♥️
