Let me preach to myself today even as I share it with you.
This morning the Lord led me to Isaiah 55, and once I read it, I knew exactly why.
So many of us find our battles taking place in our minds.
I don’t worry about demons, because I know my authority in Christ. My flesh though, that’s another subject.
My flesh is my worst enemy, and this is why we are called to crucify the flesh.
The “old man” has to die and be replaced by the “new man”.
Ephesians 4:24 📖
“and that you put on the new man which was created according to God, in true righteousness and holiness.”
This goes with our thoughts as well.
Thoughts of depression, dissatisfaction, lust, intrusive thoughts, etc… whatever goes against the knowledge of God and His word.
We have to learn how to surrender even our thoughts to the Lord. To bring our thoughts into captivity.
2 Corinthians 10:5 📖
“casting down arguments and every high thing that exalts itself against the knowledge of God, bringing every thought into captivity to the obedience of Christ,”
We can’t do this on our own.
We have to accept the grace He gave us as His children, to understand the power of the Spirit of grace.
His ways are higher than my ways.
His thoughts are higher than my thoughts.
1 Corinthians 2:16 📖
“For “who has known the mind of the Lord that he may instruct Him?” But we have the mind of Christ.”
Hand it all over to Him and be blessed.
Have a testimony-filled week ahead.
Love you all ❤️
