SPIRITUAL COFFEE FOR YOUR MORNING
I said I had Faith…
I said I believed in God, that I believed in Jesus Christ, his son. That I believed in the gifts, healings, and miracles. I said I believed that we would do greater things than Jesus did (John 14:12-14). But when I prayed for these things I was a little better than an agnostic, and I would constantly cover up my doubt, my fear, and my unbelief with “God’s will.” Or “God’s timing.” Yes, there are some scriptural bases for these things, but if you are not seeing the power of God in your life it’s time to examine yourself!
I had some questions in my heart last night before retiring to bed. They were like thoughts too.
The Holy Spirit shook me this morning with some hard truth:
“Faith is a verb. (Faith is an action!)
You are either “Doing” Faith or you are not. It comes from the same root as “Amen” and “Truth.” It means to be firm, confident, and solid. Every act of Faith brings you to a new level of confidence. Confident Faith opens the door for God to move freely in your life”.
There are levels to Faith:
🔹The atheist says he has no faith.
🔹The agnostic says he doesn’t know,
🔹The nominal Christian says he believes but really isn’t sure IF God will do it…
There are deeper levels to faith, and there is a unity with God you can get to where you know His will in a situation, and you know how to pray in that situation, and you KNOW God will answer!
Because you are connected. Because you have the mind of Christ. Because you are one Spirit (1 Corinthians 6:17).
Pray. Don’t just say words! Release and receive. Pray in the Spirit (tongues). Visualize, listen, and meditate on the word. Faith comes by hearing and hearing by the word of God.
( Romans 10:17)
